Desserts
Mexican kitchen has a huge variety of desserts, since every state has its delicatessen. Some are prepared in the easiest way you can imagine, but others, really take time to get the exact taste. I remember well when I was child, there used to be a little grocery in the corner of the street. The owners, two old ladies used to sell some sweets prepared with milk and raisings, that we call "dulces de leche", they were really a delicacy.
Modernity has given us a lot of great things, but also I think, it has taken away from us a lot of things as well. Home-made desserts is one of the things. Those afternoons preparing cookies, or sweats with Mom and Grandma are almost gone.
