Ingredients:
Optional: Walnuts, almonds or hazelnut.
We need one liter of water in a pot to boil, add the cinnamon, the raisins and the rice. Cook the rice with medium heat, add more water if it is needed, it doesn't need to be too dry. When the rice is soft, turn down to low heat and add the rest of the ingredients. The rum is to give a nice taste to the rice, so you may add little by little until you find your taste.
You may add some nut before change the rice to a bowl, and store some for decoration. When the rice is in the bowl, add some powder cinnamon and the rest of the nuts.
Note:
* The rice we use in Mexico is the small one sometimes even broken. In some
countries special rice is sold to prepare this dessert, and that is the best
one.
